Description

Outline of the session:

This session will provide information on; when you might use a Blackboard test and the types of questions available to you, as well as the process of creating and storing questions by subject pools and how these are then used in question selection and randomisation scenarios, and a full exploration of the test options with guidance on employing these to provide an effective online assessment.

Learning objectives:

  • To have a strong understanding of the way that questions can be added and referenced in a test, and what options are available to you for selecting from a larger pool of stored questions and randomising the order for students.
  • To recognise the relationship between different test options and how these will impact the assessment experience, as well as knowledge of the recommended settings.
  • To be aware of advanced features such as group creation and quick tips.
