Online teaching: Delivering lectures, seminars and workshops on Collaborate Ultra (Intro)

Outline of the session:

This session will provide information on; – How to access and set up Collaborate Ultra, including using the course room and Collaborate sessions – How to use the basic features inside of Collaborate Ultra, including camera, video, the chat window and basic sharing features. – The different features of Collaborate including user roles and how to deal with technical issues. The session will allow all attendees to deliver a teaching session or workshop on Collaborate Ultra after attending.

NOTE: This is an introductory session. If you feel you already have an understanding of this topic and would prefer to attend our advanced session, please book onto this workshop.

Learning objectives:

  • To be able to deliver a teaching session on Collaborate Ultra
  • To understand the difference between sessions and course room
  • To understand the basic features of Collaborate Ultra including audio, camera, and basic content sharing options
