2. Embedding within Microsoft PowerPoint for Live Response
In this section there is guidance to add a Microsoft Forms activity within PowerPoint to allow you to receive and share with your students live, so that their responses can be addressed in real-time. The following steps and instructional video will guide you on the process:

- Start by opening the PowerPoint presentation where you want to add the activity.
- Go to the slide where you want to add the form or insert a new slide by clicking on the “New Slide” button in the “Home” tab.
- Click on the “Insert” tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
- In the “Insert” tab, look for the “Forms” option. It might be under the “Add-ins” section. Click on it.
- If prompted, sign in with your Microsoft account to access Microsoft Forms.
- You can either create a new form or quiz by clicking on “New Form” or “New Quiz,” or you can select an existing form from your list.
- Once your form is ready, click on “Insert” to add it to your PowerPoint slide. The form will be embedded in the slide.
- You can resize and reposition the form on the slide as needed by clicking and dragging the form’s edges.
- Run your presentation in “Slide Show” mode to ensure the form works correctly and is displayed as expected.
- When you present, attendees can fill out the form directly within the PowerPoint slide. Responses will be collected in Microsoft Forms.
