Panopto: Editing and Interactivity
Description
This practical workshop will allow you to practice and refine your editing skills within Panopto. Together, we will explore how you can trim videos and organise them into sections to support your students’ learning journey. Additionally, we will identify when to edit automated captions to ensure all students can engage with technical and discipline-specific terminology. We will look at embedding quizzing activities to support knowledge checking and encourage engagement. Finally, we will embed the video within your VLE and explore engagement and performance data and how this data can assist you in making interventions for learners who require additional support.
Please note, this session requires you to bring along a short video that you are happy to edit during the session. This can either be the one you created within Panopto: Recording Microlectures or an existing piece of content. We can support you in making a copy of an existing video if required. We recommend brining headphones if possible.
