Description

This session will provide a fundamental introduction to both Padlet and MS Whiteboard. The session will be split into three parts, with 15 minutes to demonstrate and discuss both tools respectively and 30 minutes for attendees to practice using the tools with facilitators in the room to support. Following the demonstration for each tool, attendees will explore how these tools can be used to encourage collaboration and support digital ideation within teaching and learning. Attendees will be encouraged to identify an opportunity to embed a digital ideation activity in their own teaching, before having the chance to practice creating their own activity in either Padlet or MS Whiteboard.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this session you will be able:

• To recognise the fundamental steps for creating a collaborative space in Padlet and MS Whiteboard.
• To discuss the value and rationale for incorporating digital ideation within teaching and learning.
• To identify an opportunity for embedding a digital ideation activity within your own teaching.
• To design and create a draft activity of your choosing in either Padlet or MS Whiteboard.
