An Introduction to Blackboard (Going Further)

Description

Outline of the session:

Attendees will understand the more advanced features of Blackboard and how it can be used to deliver teaching. This session will provide an overview of how to add various types of content, including video, and interactive digital tools. In addition, the session will provide an overview of the Grade Centre, groups and quick tips that you may wish to use to streamline your use of Blackboard.

NOTE: This is an advanced session and a prior knowledge of the topic will be expected, please consider attending the Introductory Session for an initial overview.

Learning objectives:

  • To have an understanding of how Blackboard works as a new user.
  • To understand how to access Blackboard and your module sites.
  • To have an overview of how each module site works and the key features including sending announcements, uploading basic content and sending emails

How to book

Due to upgrades happening across University systems, you will not be able to book these training sessions via the usual HR training site. You can now use our dedicated booking form to register for each course. Once completed you will receive a dedicated calendar invite in your diary.
