Description

Outline of Session:

From the 24/25 academic year, the University of Lincoln will have fully transitioned to the latest version of Blackboard, known as Blackboard Ultra. The workshop will cover three themes: designing your module content, setting up your assessments and digital tools, and how to engage with your students online.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply key concepts and strategies to design a clear and accessible module content structure.
  • Explore new features within core digital tools and embed them within your course.
  • Develop synchronous and asynchronous communication strategies through Blackboard.
  • Understand how to create spaces for collaboration and discussion.
  • Interpret analytics and progress data relating to student engagement with the course.

Requirements:

To have engaged with some initial Blackboard Ultra training either through the workshops provided to each School in the 23/24 AY or by watching the preparation videos on the ‘Welcome to Blackboard Ultra’ page of the Digital Education website: Welcome to Blackboard Ultra – Videos (panopto.eu)
