This session will provide information on; The importance of creating accessible learning materials, Using Blackboard Ally to review and improve module content, Awareness of methods to enhance the accessibility of text, images and other digital files on Blackboard and how to amend accessibility issues.

NOTE: This is an advanced session and a prior knowledge of the topic will be expected, please consider attending the Introductory Session for an initial overview.

Learning objectives: 

• To be able to create accessible learning materials and revise old PowerPoint and Word files so that they are accessible.
• To be aware of other methods to enhance the accessibility of text, images and other digital files.
• To understand some key approaches and quick tips for resolving accessibility issues.
