Outline of the session:
To understand how a number of creative tools can be utlised to offer a creative way of engaging with students during online teaching sessions and between scheduled teaching events. The session will introduce the tools Padlet, MS Whiteboard and Nureva Span and showcase creative approaches for each and outline how you can access and apply them in your own discipline.
Learning objectives:
- To understand how a series of different tools can be used to creative engage students during online teaching sessions and between teaching events.
- An understanding of how Padlet works and how it can be applied in a teaching context
- An understanding of MS Whiteboard and the ways that it can be used within MS Teams and as an external tool.
- An understanding of the Nureva Span tool and how it can be used in the online space and in the Concept Suite on campus.
