Digital Education Clinic Drop-in
Description
Digital Education Clinic Drop-In Sessions – September 2023 (NDH3028)
At the start of the Academic Year 23/24 the Digital Education team will be offering a number of drop-in clinic sessions for staff to gain hands-on support with the suite of digital tools used in teaching and learning.
We recognise that there are a number of positive developments this year such as a wider rollout of the latest version of Blackboard (Blackboard Ultra Courses), as well as the introduction of Microsoft Teams as the default platform for online synchronous teaching and learning.
Therefore, to provide support for any quick queries or technical questions you may have we have created drop-in sessions which will provide you the opportunity to ask a member of the Digital Education team. Some examples of areas we can support with are:
- Setting up your Blackboard courses for teaching.
- Adding digital tools content to your course such as Panopto videos.
- Setting up assignments and submission points such as Turnitin.
- Scheduling meetings in Microsoft Teams for online teaching and learning.
If you require an in-depth workshop or training session on a particular digital tool we would recommend that this drop-in session is not the best option for you. You can request training and workshops for yourself, your team or school by emailing digitaleducation@lincoln.ac.uk.
These sessions will be taking place on:
- Wednesday 13th September 2023, (1PM to 2:30PM)
- Wednesday 20th September 2023, (1PM to 2:30PM)
- Wednesday 27th September 2023, (1PM to 2:30PM)
Location: Concept Suite (NDH3028 – Concept Suite) – Nicola de la Haye Building

How to book
There is no requirement to book onto this session. Please attend during the advertised time only.
We recommend that attendees bring a laptop if possible, however the Digital Education team will be able to provide you with support even if you cannot bring an internet connected device.
Please note this is a drop-in session for general support queries. This is not a structured workshop or digital training session.
