Online teaching: Delivering lectures, seminars and workshops on Collaborate Ultra (Advanced Session)

Outline of the session: 

This session will provide information on; – How to access and set up Collaborate Ultra, including using the course room and Collaborate sessions – How to use the basic features inside of Collaborate Ultra, including camera, video, the chat window and basic sharing features. – The difference features of Collaborate including user roles and how to deal with technical issues. The session will allow all attendees to deliver a teaching session or workshop on Collaborate Ultra after attending.

NOTE: This is an introductory session. If you feel you already have an understanding of this topic and would prefer to attend our advanced session, please book onto this workshop.

Learning objectives: 

  • To understand advanced features of Blackboard Collaborate Ultra
  • To discuss different approaches to teaching using Collaborate Ultra and how the tool can be utilised to deliver creative and engaging teaching
  • To have an understanding of the advanced features of Collaborate Ultra, including the use of Breakout Groups and more diverse sharing of content.
