Plan & Design a Blended Curriculum
Outline of session:
This session will support staff with re/designing a curriculum to effectively implement an active-blended learning approach. We will consider how learning outcomes and skills planning can be used in conjunction with a learning design framework to plan learning activities. We will discuss the opportunities afforded by synchronous and asynchronous activities and look at how to implement these in a clear and coherent way on Blackboard.
- To identify frameworks and structures that support curriculum design.
- To recognise opportunities to engage students with synchronous and asynchronous activities.
- To identify a range of activities that can be adopted into an active blended curriculum.
How to book
Bookings should be made through your MyView account, just log on and go to:
- My Training and Development.
- New Course Booking.
You can search for the course by entering key words from the title. Alternatively, if you select ‘Digital Education’ under ‘type’ and click the ‘search’ button, this will show you all of our courses. Please be aware that to book a course you first click on the title, then select the date. Once this is done, click book.
