Skills Session – Discover and Develop
Description
Outline of session:
Maker space
The Discover and Develop session is a flexible and adaptive workshop that helps attendees to identify gaps in their digital teaching capabilities and enhance their skills. The workshop is broken down into three sections; a skills self-assessment, a short, adaptive taught component on the application of pedagogy to specific technological solutions based on the group in the room, and maker-space style supported time to develop teaching and learning resources. Attendees are also provided with a custom set of resources for continued self-development.
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify gaps in your current digital teaching capabilities and resources that can support your own development.
- Create technology enhanced teaching and learning resources in a supported environment.
Requirements:

How to book
Bookings should be made through your MyView account, just log on and go to:
- My Training and Development.
- New Course Booking.
You can search for the course by entering key words from the title. Alternatively, if you select ‘Digital Education’ under ‘type’ and click the ‘search’ button, this will show you all of our courses. Please be aware that to book a course you first click on the title, then select the date. Once this is done, click book.
