Outline of the session: 

This is an advanced session on the use of Turnitin and will cover the aspects of marking and feedback including the Feedback studio for quick marks, in text comments and feedback . It will also offer attendees the chance to understand the rationale and approach to using rubrics on Turnitin to aid their marking.

NOTE: This is an advanced session and a prior knowledge of the topic will be expected, please consider attending the Introductory Session for an initial overview.

Learning objectives: 

• To understand how to mark on Turinitin using Feedback Studio
• To understand how to access work on Turnitin to be able to mark
• To be aware of the rationale around the use of rubrics and the process of setting up these rubrics for use in your marking and feedback.
• Troubleshooting advanced issues in Turnitin such as grade and roster sync.
